Benefits of having a business web site

Can you believe that just about fifteen years ago most people had not even heard of the Internet? We have been involved with creating business web sites and e-commerce site 1997. We have watched it grow from a very simple way to send email to a sophisticated communication medium. Today everyone is at least aware of the Internet and the majority of you use it at least occasionally.
But even more amazing is the growth in web functionality and the huge drop in the cost of that functionality. In the late 90’s it was not unusual for a company to spend tens of thousands of dollars to build an e-commerce site. Today, any business, small or large, can have an Internet catalog or e-commerce web site for under $2000.00. Part of the reason for the drop in price is the huge number of small businesses now opting for an online presence to augment sales in their physical locations. Another reason is the technology has gotten more sophisticated and available. And the huge number of businesses moving to the web is a result of the number of people who regularly use the Internet.
If you own a business today your customers EXPECT you to have a web site and email. This expectation almost requires you to have some sort of interactive, dynamic web presence. Even so, one of the questions we hear often is “What are the benefits of having a business web site?” The answer to this depends upon your business and your customers. But to understand the most important benefit of having a web site we have to look at the behaviors of today’s customers.
During the 80’s and 90’s US companies were in a cost cutting, increased productivity frenzy. Every major corporation in America was working diligently to drive customers totally mad. New, telephone answering systems that could literally keep you on hold or wandering through a maze of options… Reductions in inventories that lead to products not being available… Fewer choices to further reduce inventories… Part time employees with little understanding of the products and services replaced knowledgeable, full time employees… It seemed that we were doomed to poor customer service while EVERY business bragged about their excellent customer service.
Then, while most of us had given up on any hope of good customer service, the Internet sprang up. What an amazing thing. Any time, night or day, you could look up information you needed. Then Amazon.com began letting us buy books the same way. And the service was great. An email telling you they received your order… an email telling you the order was shipped and you should receive it in a few days… an email telling you that you should have already received the order and what to do if you had not… an email telling you of a great new book similar to the one you just bought.
Sure it was email… sure it was automated. But it was so much better than what we had become used to we loved it. And we still love it. Why wait on hold when you can send an email at any time and you can go do other things while waiting for a reply.
The Internet makes it possible to communicate with your customers on their terms within their time frame. It makes it possible to automate information dissemination and customer service. Even if you don’t use the Internet to increase your market reach and revenue the Internet has made it possible to keep your customers happy.
There are lots of benefits to having a business web site. But the most important is that an Internet web site is now a customer requirement. Without an effective internet presence, your competitors are the winners.

Three Reasons for Your Company to Invest in IT Services

When a business takes that leap from idea to reality, there are many things that happen both internally and externally. Internally, jobs become more clearly defined and others may join in the venture. While externally, there is more public awareness. These are both excellent for business growth, but they also pose a unique set of risks and challenges for your IT security and capabilities. If you have not yet decided to invest in an IT division for your business, consider the following reasons to do so:

Ability to Focus on Other Tasks

Even with a one person IT crew, your technology problems can get solved behind the scenes without you ever having to worry about issues like how to network your printer at your office with your computer at home. If you hire your secretary to complete your payroll each week as well as complete daily tasks such as filing and stocking supplies, there will be double the work to be done for one individual. An opportunity to save money would be to hire two part time workers, a secretary and a payroll clerk, rather than one full time worker who makes purchases and deals with paychecks. This can eliminate conflict of interests, such as the one illustrated above, and reduce overall costs by allowing one person to do one job and do it well.

Better Security

With the ever-evolving nature of the computer and technology world, having someone on your side who is able to stay up to date on the latest breakthroughs and software can really pay off. A person whose job is to stay informed on these issues and topics will be able to offer your company truly the best products and services while ignoring the sales pitch that they receive from the local office supply store about why the current edition of their anti-virus software is the best deal and security in town. With the increasing exposure that a growing business experiences, there will also be more people targeting the business in an attempt to access customer information and other potentially valuable information. A dedicated IT staff can readily spot these attempts, thwart off any potential attacks and keep your data prepared in case of an accidental breech in security.

Better Accountability

With a growing company, IT will soon become a full time job. If you are still acting as both the CEO and the full time IT staff, chances are that there are other members in your company who are pulling double duty elsewhere. By keeping at least one person in the IT slot, you can begin to keep everyone accountable in their hired position by not allowing a conflict of interest in other, more sensitive areas of your company. It is also reassuring to other staff members to know that they have a responsible and knowledgeable person taking care of their technology needs and issues. When a problem arises, they can have it quickly addressed, similar to if they had a payroll concern. By keeping different people in separate rolls, you create a system of better dependability within your company and this will soon carry over to your customers and other areas of business.

Impact of Information Technology on Business

Information technology is a wide field, and has enabled organizations across the world to work in an efficient manner. It plays a very important role in effective management and running of a business. The use of information technology in organizations is inevitable, be it any type of company like manufacturing or medicinal sector. It has contributed largely to the process advancements in organizations. The exact impact of information technology on business administration can be determined by the elements mentioned below.

Basic Elements of Information Technology

Software and Applications
Software is an important part of information technology which relates to computer applications that enable a company to generate, store, program, and retrieve data as and when needed. There are many softwares developed for different purposes. All operations in the business sector are carried out by software that are assigned for executing specific tasks. Without these computer applications the businesses wouldn't have been able to carry out their functions in a proper and efficient manner. Operating systems, ERPs, special purpose applications, and web browsers are some examples of different softwares.

There are some softwares which are exclusively built to contribute to the proper collaborative working of all sections of the businesses, which are known as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). These are complex applications which enable people to efficiently manage all functions and operations of all processes in the businesses.

Hardware Devices
These are various computer equipments that house the softwares. Devices like microcomputers, mid-size servers, and huge mainframe systems are some examples of hardware. Businesses have to maintain a huge collection of important data. For this purpose, they employ these devices which are responsible for storing confidential company data and retrieving it back when required. Other hardware devices include network devices that are used for providing Internet access to the businesses to work and communicate expeditiously. There are even devices which enable manufacturing tools and equipments to work accurately in the industrial sector.

Running Businesses with Information Technology

Small scale businesses need to buy software packages that would cater to their specific management, operational, and functional needs. For this purpose, they need to approach firms and IT manufacturers who deal in such software applications. Other IT services include Internet marketing and email marketing, web hosting and promotions, and maintaining client networks. Larger businesses on the other hand have their own operational and functional employees who develop software applications and work on several IT needs of the businesses. They usually purchase ERP softwares to coordinate different processes and functions into a single application, which is actually more convenient.

Manufacturing businesses may make use of servers and databases to store their vast data regarding inventory, B2B, B2C, FMCG (in the retail business sector), etc. Automobile manufacturers use computers to guide manufacturing and designing tools to function in a precise manner, ruling out the possibilities of any human error. Businesses all around the globe have to take the aid of information technology in some way or the other to keep themselves in sync with the market and the world. There are several departments in business organizations such as HR and recruitment, finance and payroll, administration, and security. All these departments utilize IT to carry out their respective operations in a productive manner and efficient manner.

The information technology role in business sector certainly is of a great importance, which enables businesses to effectively and successfully plan, manage, execute strategies which lead to profit. Moreover, the impact of information technology on business is on the rise, as several advancements are focused on to be implemented in various business processes.

Learning in the world, a bridge to the Hereafter?

(Help for simple solutions and the right ...)

"Nadia, whatever you learned (in school or anywhere) is not merely to catch up on the book value of fuss. But to live and worship ...", which is always pronounced the sentence on Nadia papa.

Maybe because too often hear the phrase, a long time also began to penetrate into consciousness. Therefore, if learning is relatively more focused than my friends in school. The value was also relatively stable since the hassle to go to school until now ...

Alhamdulillah ... ....

Thank God too, with the awareness that Papa and Mama so not too dizzy to force me to learn. Usually I learn because it feels the need to learn.

Thank God too, to learn how such a fuss of me since the first class to this day always on average. Thank God I can get to be proud of the subjects like Mathematics and Additional Mathematics, which the others are considered confidential.

But, sometimes I'm too much stress and despair if a lot of memorization. An example might be the last quiz test. So much memorization of the date. I complained directly to the poor. The date is a lot of rote, memorizing turn of events - is the occurrence of an event. Aduuh ... ...! But, Dad just replied calmly, "If we do not want to learn not me. no need to complain. Papa do not claim to be one hundred percent to the state. "

Alhamdulillah .... I was given an incredible amount of grace ... ..

Needs and Requirements which must be in priority,,,

(Help for simple solutions and the right ...)

Needs the purpose of:Things that make life more comfortable. The requirement is more a complement to the requirements. The human will is not limited and difficult to be satisfied. Examples of human needs, such as cars, food, branded clothes, house bungalow, etc.

Purposes of the requirements:
A matter which should exist in every human being needs to survive.
Human needs of physiological needs like food, clothing and shelter.
Other requirements are needed every modern humans were education, health, transport and basic amenities

such as water and electricity.

owner's said:>>

What is desire? food, shelter, education, and others that are important to us. presumably if the desire is not met, we did not survive .. but as human beings, we are no longer a requirement called the state .. all sorts of things that we want to pursue the extent that we forget and ignore our wishes ..

individual has their own opinions to choose the best in life I think mereka.menurut necessary requirements must be met to proceed with a claim hidup.ia also human nature to get it to continue hidup.antaranya, eat, drink, accommodation, clothing and etc.. because all this belongs to the basic requirements that are used every day in our lives.

Examples: "Men need to oxygen"
Humans can choose to 'not want' to oxygen because oxygen is not the thing he 'want'. But it will bring ruin upon him. Reason, oxygen is one thing which 'must' for humans.
So, I want to invite all my readers to think long and a little today.
Which invites us to construct a line, one of the things that we need, and what we want.

The World is divided into two: Needs and Requirements
Is the world merely a requirement?
No. Humans need the world. The world is a necessity for humans. Why?
Because the world is human capital for the afterlife.
But in life on this world, still there are things called requirements, and still there is just merely needs.
Human need for shelter. But not necessarily the big and luxurious houses. There is no doubt some families may be a great family, great house, it is necessary. But for other people, even more so the only live together, so big and luxurious houses that are 'needs'.
Humans have to vehicle. A comfortable car. But not necessarily up to 10 cars. 10 cars is a requirement.
Human need for food. Nutritious food. But not necessarily to 7, and massacred all the side dishes. 7 plates and dishes were thrashed all the requirements.
Schools should be the rule. Without rules, the school will not run smoothly. But people do not like the rules. But they did not follow the rules. Do not want to follow rules that are 'needs'.
Here we need to see.
The difference in the needs and requirements.
So, I suppose, to which we lorongkan our requirements?

Finally, ponder this philosophical musing is a wise man
failure to plan means you plan a failure, the options and requirements in the life of a mistake in making a choice will lead to a loss, unable to distinguish between the needs of his will lead to waste ..

Live to eat or eat to live???

(Help for simple solutions and the right ...)

We used to hear the statement above, whether we are eating just to live or vice versa?

What we eat is actually intended? Is the reason already hungry or just want to fill the belly?

There are three reasons why we eat actually. One goal is to get energy. In everyday life, be a much needed energy. This energy is symbolized as a 'fuel' to help move the body and provides the ability to organs of the body and mind to function properly. The energy that comes from the food we eat is in the form of calories.

The second is to build a block of cells (building blocks Purposes). This is because the human body will always experience the process of restoration and renewal of cells on daily or monthly basis. According to experts and research, there are millions of cells in our body are very hungry for a healthy nutrition, which should come from the food we eat daily.

We also take food in order to develop catalysts. Catalysts useful for helping with the chemical action of the body to convert food into energy and to facilitate the disbursement process to the body. It is through vitamins, enzymes and minerals contained in our food.

However, we often respond to starvation only because the first is to continue to get the energy to continue working. When the stomach starts emptying within a few hours, the messages conveyed to the brain has been programmed to like to eat for energy already too tired and we already started to decline. As a result, our bodies will start asking a lot of food energy (ie: calories) as carbohydrates, sugars and fats.

We continue to forget about the other reasons why the food needed by the body. We just started to realize this purpose only when we begin to pain, fever, flu, and so forth. Health began to interfere because of malnutrition and the two had not met the requirements. If this is so, then we find the lookout-vitamins or supplements or drugs, just to relieve the disease. When you are gone, we started back to eating habits as before. And it continues to spin over and over without trying to turn us into a healthier direction. So, do we eat just to live? Think carefully
